The sound box is an experimental project based on the sounds of Bucharest.
A representation of fragments of sound from Bucharest, that compose a portrait of the city.
The idea behind the project is to make people stop, listen and detach themselves from the world for a few minutes while they put on the headphones and listen to sounds from another city.
The sound box is composed out of a wooden box and a music player that are connected to a pair of headphones.Exhibition Design, Interaction Design, Sound Design2013 -

The project is an installation inspired by the play Saved by Edward Bond.
Saved is a play written by Edward Bond, and was first produced at the Royal Court Theatre in November 1965. It was originally enacted privately, under "club" auspices, since the play was initially censored due largely to the infamous 'stoning of a baby' scene.
The play itself is set in London during the 1960s. Its subject is the cultural poverty and frustration of a generation of young people on the dole and living on council estates.Exhibition Design, Photography2012 -

This project analyzes the human facial expressions. In our society these have been limited to some basic pictograms (e.g. emoticons from yahoo messenger) but the different state of minds cannot be limited because each person has a certain face expression. The posters that I made analyze the diversity of the facial expressions on a certain number of people.Graphic Design, Print Design, Creative Direction2011 -
Is the use of genetic engineering the answer to the world's food problems? What are the human health risks? Are we facing an environmental hazard? Are we ready to risk our food, our health and our life?Graphic Design, Print Design2012 -

This project is connected with the customs of the people to group and associate some human characteristics according to appearance and general behavior, rather than making an individual analysis of a person (an individual analysis for what we are and not what seems to be).
Through various work techniques (photography, illustration, typography) I have shown that labeling and categorizing people is unnecessary because in the end we are the same, the same species, but still individuals and by our own characteristics and not by some general features.
By a the series of posters I presented the general categorization of humans that does not lead to the discovery of a person, but instead it makes us find out the differences that exist in our society.Graphic Design, Illustration2012 -

This experiment is still developing at the moment; it consists into bringing out on the streets an element that did not fit there. For the experiment two brightly colored chairs were used, placed into several locations and left there to see whether people will interact with them or at least notice them. The firsts result seems to show that people do notice the chairs as not being part of the usual picture. They are however reluctant into using them as they seem a bit confused about their role. The experiment is still continuing and further information will be added.Creative Direction, Interaction Design2012 -
